BLACK-OWNED EYEWEAR BRANDS

In light of recent events, I feel it is important to highlight some amazing eyewear brands that are also black-owned. It is important that we continue to support black businesses, now more than ever. So, here are seven black owned eyewear brands that you need to know about.

Bohten

I am lucky enough to have worked with Bohten on numerous occasions. The Canadian based brand has its roots in Ghana. Founded by Nana Osei Boateng, they boast high quality, stylish eyewear and put sustainability at the fore.

Coco and Breezy

Founded in 2009 by twin sisters Corianna and Brianna Dotson, this brand began with the pair customising existing frames. This creativity has allowed them to launch their own brand and feature in some of the biggest publications.
